HARBOR CITY, Calif. – Bryan Addison has emerged as one of the best prospects in the West region and now he’s sure of three official visits.

The Gardena (Calif.) Serra high four-star athlete who will almost definitely play safety on the next level said he’s going to visit Washington, Michigan and Nebraska for his trips.

No dates have been finalized yet.

Addison, a long and athletic 6-foot-5, 175-pound prospect, is still pondering his two other official visits and it’s expected he will take all five trips before making a commitment.

In the last couple weeks, Addison has also seriously considered an official visit to Oregon but he did not mention the Ducks when asked about his trips over the weekend when Gardena Serra lost to Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne, 17-14, after going up by two scores to start the game.

There is also no question that Addison will seriously consider UCLA and USC as his recruitment continues.

It’s no secret that the four-star athlete has been high on the Bruins for a long time, seriously considered committing to the Pac-12 school this summer, has a bunch of family connections to Westwood and admitted he actually cried when he landed the UCLA offer.

But USC is also playing a major – and possibly growing role – in Addison’s recruitment. So many top Serra prospects have ended up playing for the Trojans and Addison was wearing USC socks during Serra’s season opener this past weekend. He also has a picture of him camping at USC as his Twitter background picture, a change in recent days.

Is USC emerging for Addison?

“Kind of the same,” he said.

All of it will be closely watched in the coming months especially as Addison hits the road for official visits.
