GARDENA, Calif. - In October, four-star Bryan Addison released a top five of Nebraska, UCLA, Arizona State, Michigan and Arizona.

This past weekend the Gardena (Calif.) Serra two-way standout took his official visit to Arizona State, a school he has already seen before.

After his Washington trip scheduled for Nov. 18 when the Huskies host Utah, Addison said he should be ready to make his commitment.

The Huskies were not in his top group but a visit to Seattle will happen anyway.

“Washington was my No. 6 team,” Addison said Friday night after Serra beat Long Beach (Calif.) Poly. “I just wanted to go out there and see what it was like and maybe get a chance to go there.

“I feel like I’m ready. Depending on how the visits go, I will be committing.”

Wearing Michigan gloves on Friday and USC socks, Addison said his trip to Ann Arbor was great. The Wolverines definitely left an impression.

“I like the atmosphere,” Addison said. “I was out there and all the coaches show great hospitality and showed a great time out there. I had a great time out there with the players, coaches and the Michigan family.”

Nebraska and UCLA also remain high on the list. It’s no secret the Bruins almost landed Addison’s commitment this summer, he has family connections to UCLA and said he even cried when he landed that offer.

“Nebraska is up there due to the fact that the fans are great and they also have a great coaching staff,” Addison said. “UCLA is the hometown school. Coach Jimmie (Dougherty) is always hitting me up. Coach (Demetrice Martin) is always hitting me up.”

The high four-star said a few days after his Washington visit, he should be ready to make his commitment.
