Four-star Barr makes the call

Going into the season there weren't too many two-way players with the athleticism and talent as four-star running back/defensive back, Anthony Barr (6-4, 230, 4.5) from Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola. He brings extreme athleticism to the table and could play a number of positions on the D-I making him even more valuable. It was down to Notre Dame and UCLA. Rivals.com learned earlier today where Barr will play his college football and continue his higher education.
Rivals.com learned that Barr will attend UCLA.

"It was the hardest decision of my life," Barr told Pete Sampson of Irish Illustrated. "I'll always be a Notre Dame fan."
Barr will not be meeting with Notre Dame coaches this evening for an in house as was previously planned.
The Bruins get an outstanding football player whose versatility was high coveted by colleges across the nation. The Bruins love his athleticism and recruited him as an athlete.
Some have compared Barr to former Heisman Trophy Winner, Eddie George as a running back, while others think he can play tight end, receiver, defensive back or linebacker. He brings a lot of ability to the table. He covers a lot of ground on the defensive side of the ball and there just aren't of players with his size and speed.
Great get for a reemerging UCLA Bruin football program.
