Four-star back to take first trip

Four-star running back Tracy Slocum (5-10, 195, 4.5) from Clovis (Calif.) Clovis East was living up to his reputation as one of the Golden State's top running backs but has had to sit the last two weeks due to a fibula injury. He has been practicing this week and he is scheduled to get back in action this weekend when 6-1 Clovis East takes on rival5-2 Clovis West this Friday Night.
On the recruiting trail the Oregon Ducks recently offered Slocum as scholarship joining Cal, Washington State, Arizona, Arizona State, Fresno State and Nebraska.

Slocum has a pending offer from UCLA based on a passing SAT score. South Carolina of the SEC is also beginning to show some recruiting interest in Slocum.
Arizona State will be Slocum's first official visit this weekend October 28th when the Sun Devils take on the Washington Huskies. It just happens to be Arizona State's homecoming game.
Slocum was scheduled to take an official visit to Cal on November 11th but he will put that trip off until December. He will also visit Fresno State in December.
"Cal wanted me to change my visit because they wanted to give me more time on my trip," Slocum said. "So I will take my visit after the season."
"I want to visit UCLA with one of my remaining visits," Slocum said. "I'm not sure how will get my last visit."
"I will hopefully make up mind after I take all my trips," Slocum said. "If not sooner."
Until Slocum was injured he racked up over 700 yards and had eight touchdowns.
As a junior Slocum earned League Player of the Year, plus he was Mr. Central Valley his performance
Slocum was also a first-team all-state underclassman, second-team all-state all classifications, first-team all-league, first-team all-area, first-team all-city and first-team all-section after rushing for approximately 1,800 yards and score 22 touchdowns. He also caught 20 passes for 300 yards and five more touchdowns.
