Four-star Alan Tisdale picks the Hokies

Virginia Tech pulled in six commitments in June and July has started off well too. Four-star linebacker Alan Tisdale announced his commitment to the Hokies.

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"I've been building a relationship with the coaches at Virginia Tech," Tisdale said. "The linebackers coach and defensive coordinator Bud Foster is great. He can see me at those linebackers spots.

"Blacksburg is great," he said. "They showed a lot of love, especially the fans. In the stadium I can see the energy from the fans.

"The 'NC to VT' movement is amazing," said Tisdale. "We got Tre and DJ already and Nadir Thompson. We're really trying to get KJ Henry. I plan on really recruiting hard too."

RIVALS' REACTION

Virginia Tech has done well on the recruiting but Tisdale is the first linebacker the Hokies have taken in this class. He is versatile enough to play multiple linebacker positions and has a frame the Virginia Tech will be able to easily mold. Tisdale is a tackling machine that does a great job in coverage.
