Notre Dame lost a big piece of their 2024 recruiting class when the nation's No. 28 overall player, Brandon Davis-Swain, announced via a message on Twitter that he was backing off of his pledge to the Irish. Not only is Davis-Swain one of the highest rated players at a position of high value, he was also Notre Dame's the first commitment in the 2024 class. While this one stings for the Irish right now, all signs point to this potentially being a a temporary separation and not a full out divorce.
