Four standout to Anderson

Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Hightower 2016 defensive tackle Darius Anderson stands in at 6-foot-2, and 285-pounds, and has landed firmly on the radar of college coaches. His first offer arrived from East Carolina, and he is appreciate for the opportunity.
"It was a blessing and I actually didn't know until I woke up that morning and checked myself," Anderson said. "I'm very blessed to have offers."

His second offer has yet to arrive, but several other colleges have been keeping in touch.
"The recruiting process it's just calm," Anderson said. "I've been hearing from UCLA, Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU so far."
It is still early, but he does have four schools at the top of his list.
"It's A&M, Texas, LSU, and Florida," Anderson said. "I love their environments. They've been some of my favorite colleges since I was little, and I love the way their defensive lines play as a whole."
Anderson attended the Houston Rivals Camp Series and the Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge. He plans to attend Houston and Texas camps in July.
As a sophomore in 2013 Anderson earned 23-5A Defensive Newcomer of the Year honors.
