Four stand out to Pippins

Marcellus Pippins is preparing for his first official visit to Utah on the first weekend of October and he's especially excited about it since the Utes are one of his four favorites.
"I'm going down to see what the campus is like," Pippins said.

"I really want to go down there to watch them play since they're playing USC. I want to watch that and see how they play against some better teams. They're up there among my favorites."
Utah, Washington State, UCLA and San Diego State stand out the most to the three-star cornerback from El Cerrito, Calif., but he doesn't want to make a decision until he takes all of his trips.
Pippins, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound prospect, said he's planning the Utah trip and wants to definitely see Washington State and UCLA but is unsure when he's going to take those trips.
"I'm probably going to take my visits to Washington State and UCLA but I don't know my other ones," Pippins said.
"I'm probably going to take some during the season and then some after the season and then I should be ready to make my decision."
In total, Pippins lists offers from Arizona State, San Diego State, UCLA, UNLV, Utah, Utah State and Washington State.
After his Utah trip, Pippins said he's unsure when other official trips will be scheduled. It's not expected that the three-star will make his commitment without getting out on the road to see more schools.
