Four stand out to Kilgore

An offer earlier this week from Bowling Green has brought Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier three-star wide receiver Trey Kilgore into double-digit offer territory. He has seen several of those schools, and has four that stand out.
"I haven't put a number in terms of first, second, third, fourth and fifth, but I'm feeling Cincinnati, Boston College, Kentucky and Toledo," Kilgore reported. "I plan on visiting Kentucky in the next couple of weeks and Boston College in June."

Kilgore has already visited Cincinnati and Toledo as well as Miami (Ohio), Bowling Green, Illinois and Northwestern. Illinois and Northwestern have not offered, and Kilgore has several schools that are showing strong interest who could add their names to his offer list in the future.
"There are maybe five of those - Michigan State, Illinois, Arizona State, Arizona and West Virginia," Kilgore said.
Besides his trips to Kentucky and Boston College this summer, Kilgore also plans to attend camps at Ohio State and Michigan State, but said that is tentative and could change.
What will not change is Kilgore's approach to his preparation for his senior season. He has a game plan for how to handle the recruiting process and how to handle his development, and they are independent of one another.
"In terms of training and how I am going to be performing, it's still the same," Kilgore said. "I am going to act as if I have no offers and work to keep impressing people and improving as a player.
"In terms of my college decision, me and my family plan on sitting down along with my coach and narrowing down this list of schools as soon as possible. I'm going to make the decision whenever I feel the time is right."
The 6-foot-2, 183-pound Kilgore caught 42 passes for 378 yards and three touchdowns as a junior. He also rushed 34 times for 210 yards and an additional two touchdowns.
