Kyahva Tezino has a bunch of early offers but the Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian standout said some schools in particular stand out.
The four-star athlete who will probably play safety or linebacker in college has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado State, Houston, Miami, SMU, UCLA, Utah and Washington State.
"Really right now it's probably like Arizona, UCLA, Miami and Cal," Tezino said of his top options.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound four-star recruit has a lot of connections at Arizona and that could play a major factor as his recruitment continues.
Former Los Angeles Salesian teammates Jamardre Cobb, Marquis Ware and Rodney Carr signed with Arizona in recent weeks and Tezino said it could be a major consideration moving forward.
"That's a big deal right there," Tezino said. "I have my teammates there and they're like my brothers. I have a lot of connections there and that's important."
UCLA is also one of the standouts for Tezino, rated as the No. 13 athlete and the No. 128 recruit in the 2015 class by Rivals.com.
"With UCLA I know a lot of dudes that went there," Tezino said. "Denzel Fisher is my cousin, so that's really good, too."
Tezino said Alabama, Florida and Oregon are three other programs that have reached out recently.
