Four stand out for Rivals250 LB

Rockdale, Texas Rivals250 linebacker James David may be sidelined with an injury but it has not slowed down the recruiting process.
The 6-3, 225-pound standout is on track for full clearance this summer, and is looking forward to a strong senior season. In the meantime he continues to add offers with TCU, Baylor, Houston, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, and Washington already on the table.

In April he was able to visit two Big 12 programs.
"Baylor had a scrimmage and I went to Texas' spring game," David said.
Both visits left an impression on the Central Texas linebacker.
"It was good," David said of Baylor. "I got to meet some of the coaches."
"It was probably the same as Baylor's," David said of Texas. "I liked it and I got to meet up with Manny Diaz and talk to him. I had a good time."
He also plans to visit TCU soon, but does not currently have anything planned.
"I'm trying to go up there one of these days," David said.
At this point in the process, David is keeping a close eye on his options and there are four schools at the top of his list.
"Four schools I'm looking at the most are Baylor, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, and Alabama," David said. "I like the coaches and how they get players ready to become big stars and they take care of you like you're their own son."
All four are even at this point, but David does know when he would like to narrow his list down to one and make a decision.
"The beginning of football season," David said.
David is currently ranked No. 163 in the Rivals250.
