Four showing heavy interest in Vitabile

Edison (N.J.) Bishop Ahr junior Brandon Vitabile, currently ranked the No. 9 center in the nation by Rivals.com, holds offers from Syracuse and Vanderbilt.
The 6-foot-2, 293-pound prospect admits to having interest in both schools.

Four other schools that have not yet offered are showing a lot of interest as well. Who would that be?
"I'm getting a lot of interest from Northwestern, Pitt, Boston College and Wisconsin of late. That's really what's been going on lately. I haven't made any visits because we're just finishing school and I don't know what I have planned for the summer. Finals are coming up in the next two weeks so that's what I've been focused on.
"Some schools want me to get out to meet their coaching staff, see their campus and just see if I'm interested. They think it will let them know how interested I am if I decide to visit them. They also want me to meet their offensive line coaches if I haven't already.
"I guess everyone liked what they've seen. I'm bigger than what they thought I would be. Now we're getting into the evaluation period."
Vitabile said he was more likely to make unofficial visits than attend camps this summer. He would like to make an early decision, so he might not wait to take officials in the fall.
He said he has no current favorites. Every school listed above, as well as Penn State, is recruiting him as a center.
