Four on top for Ogundeko

Four-star linebacker Ebenezer Ogundeko out of Brooklyn (N.Y.) Thomas Jefferson is focused on four schools with two standing out above the pack. However, the 6-foot-3, 227-pounder plans to take his official visits first and has set his first trip for next month.
"My two favorite schools right now are Syracuse and Florida," he said. "Those are my favorites and I'm going to take officials to Syracuse, Florida, Ole Miss and Arizona State. I'm not sure about a fifth visit yet. Most likely no, but I'll see whatever other schools are interested in me."

Ogundeko gave some insight on each of his four contenders.
Syracuse: "It's just my hometown school. It's a great opportunity to play early."
Florida: "I mean it's a good opportunity to get in the rotation and play with some great players. It's a chance to play in the SEC."
Ole Miss: "It's a great opportunity to play early and Coach Kiffin is there. It's in the SEC too."
Arizona State: "They have basically been recruiting me hard since day one. I would like to take a visit to them to see what they are about and how it is. It's a great opportunity to play early also."
Ogundeko has scheduled one of his officials soon.
"So far I have Arizona State planned for October 16th," he said. "I plan to take the rest after the season since they all play on Saturdays and I play on Saturday. I want to go to games."
Ogundeko discussed what he hopes to see during his visits.
"I want to go on these visits to see what the schools are about and how the atmosphere is," he said. "I want to see how it is on game day."
The New York City linebacker opened the season this past weekend with a big game, eight tackles, two sacks and one touchdown.
"I was playing with more technique and I used my hands a bit more," he said. "I still want to improve more on everything, my pass rush and run stopping. I want to improve on my hands and aggressiveness in how I play."
