Junior to Watch: Emmanuel Byers
School: High Point (N.C.) Ragsdale

Position: Wide receiver
Size and speed: Byers is 5-foot-10 and weighs 170 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds, bench presses 185 pounds 17 times and squats 425. He has a 33-inch vertical leap.
Statistics: Byers caught 52 passes as a junior for 800 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also returned three punts for touchdowns as well as a kickoff return.
Honors: All-conference, all-area, all-region.
Favorite Schools: North Carolina, Wake Forest, NC State, Clemson, East Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia.
Skinny: Byers is a speedy wideout who is also a killer on special teams. He has offers from NC State, Clemson, Wake Forest and East Carolina so far with plenty of other teams interested.
“I don’t have a favorite right now but I grew up following North Carolina,” he said. “I’m going to camp at UNC for sure and maybe at Wake Forest as well.”
So far every team on his list except for Virginia have been at his school over the last few days. Byers won’t make his decision until after his senior season is over.
