Tight end Daniel Beilinson of Cary (N.C.) Panther Creek has managed to glide under-the-radar to this point despite already having four offers. A number of other top programs are also keeping a close eye on the Carolina tight end.
"The recruiting process has been very kind to me so far," said Beilinson. "I'm very happy as to where I am right now with all of that. I've received personal verbal offers from N.C. State and Duke, and offers from Vanderbilt and Arizona State through my coach."
Beilinson, 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, also mentioned that he has been receiving serious interest from Wake Forest, Florida and Maryland recently. He did not take any visits during the fall, but has already taken junior day visits to both N.C. State and Duke.
"N.C. State has a great atmosphere," said Beilinson. "The stadium is always packed for the games and the coaching staff is very nice. Duke was also great. I could see that football is important to them and the coaching staff was also very good."
Beilinson's future schedule is still in the process of being finalized.
"As of right now I do not have any other visits planned, however I will be looking into that in the near future," said Beilinson. "I will try to attend one-day camps at the schools that have offered thus far, and maybe others, but this not definite yet."
During the fall, Beilinson lined up at both tight end and punter. He finished with 37 receptions for 553 yards and two touchdowns.
"I think I had a good year overall," he said. "The coaches were able to use my ability to its fullest, which I believe allowed me to make plays for them. And great coaching and a hard working attitude from the team led us to being 13-2."
