Four offers already for 2018 RB Lawrence

He might be the younger brother of Dexter Lawrence, the top player in the nation, but Devon Lawrence is building his own reputation. The Wake Forest, N.C. running back is up to four offers and many more are on the way.
So far N.C. State, North Carolina, Florida State and North Carolina A&T have pulled the trigger.

"I like that North Carolina has a really nice campus and they're really welcoming," said the 5-foot-11, 195-pound Lawrence. "I haven't really gotten into the recruiting part of this yet but I like what I've seen so far.
"N.C. State also has a beautiful campus," he said. "The coaches are inviting us out there. They seem like they like us a lot. It's fun talking to them. We talk about football, BBQ and everything. It's like a regular conversation and it's not always about football, that's what makes it so welcoming.
"Coach Lucas (Wake Forest head coach) told me about my Florida State offer," Lawrence said. "That is a really good program from what I heard. We're going to go out and visit some time soon. It's good to have an offer from a school like that. I haven't talked to any of the coaches down there yet but I will when we visit."
Lawrence has a few visits coming up.
"On July 17 we are visiting Alabama and I think a lot of the Wake Forest staff should be there with my mom, Dexter and me," he said. "I think while we're there we are going to try to visit Auburn too. Toward the end of the summer we're probably going to visit Florida State. We have family down there so we'll probably go by there."
This season expect Lawrence to play on both sides of the ball this year, likely starting at running back and linebacker.
