Four lead for NJ safety

Maryland and Michigan State have held the edge for safety Dontae Johnson for a while now, but that could be changing. Who is at the top of the Pennington (N.J.) Pennington Prep prospect's list?
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound defensive back is still high on the Terrapins and Spartans, but he's also taking more of an interest in another pair of schools.

"Yeah, those two are still up there," he said, referring to Maryland and Michigan State. "Just make sure you've got NC State and UConn up there, too.
"They're both great schools that have great environments. They're just great places. On top of that I really like the coaches."
Don't get the idea that it's just between those four schools. Others are involved, and Johnson plans on listening to everyone's pitch.
"I was just in Pittsburgh this last weekend. I was actually there for the Pittsburgh Jam Fest for basketball," he explained. "I went and visited the campus and the facilities while I was there.
"It was really nice. Everything was up to date. It's a nice city and a nice area."
Pitt has not yet offered Johnson, but he said he thought the Panthers would be the next to extend a scholarship.
Thus far he has received offers from Virginia, NC State, UConn, Maryland, Minnesota and Michigan State.
