Four lead for Knox Jr.

Three-star athlete Jeff Knox Jr. continues to garner plenty of attention on the recruiting trail. Two more offers came in the past week and the Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha prospect is now making plans for summer.
"Everything is finishing up," he said. "I just landed offers in the last week from Miami (Ohio) and Akron.

"I'm taking a visit soon to West Virginia. I'm interested in them because I'm actually from Pittsburgh and it's just an hour away from Pitt. They haven't offered yet, but I'm sure they will come with one."
Are any other visits coming up?
"I'll probably take a trip to Alabama soon too. I may make a camp to Maryland this year as well."
Does Knox Jr. like anybody?
"I like Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Maryland," he said. "Those four I've built a strong relationship with and I've already visited Pittsburgh and Maryland. I've talked to the coaches at Penn State and Michigan."
As for a decision, the Maryland prospect wants to get it done sooner than later.
"All the coaches from those schools keep telling me they are waiting for a commitment," he joked. "I'm not really thinking that yet. I am trying to get it done before the first game of the season though, but we'll see how it happens."
In the meantime, Knox Jr. is recovering quickly from a shoulder tear.
"Everything is going well, I've recovered well and was cleared 100% last month," he said. "Now I'm lifting weights and going to participate in 7-on-7's. It was tough fighting it during the season, my shoulder kept popping out on every play and I was going to have to wait to get surgery until the end of the season so I held off and kept playing with the injury, but it's great now and I'm back."
