Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee three-star safety Clinton Heaven had had a trio of top schools for several months. In October, a fourth school entered the picture and is now considered amongst his leaders.
"I had a top three of West Virginia, Vanderbilt, and North Carolina, those were my top schools, but Ohio State is in the mix now," Heaven said.
The reason for the Buckeyes joining his long-time leaders is that Luke Fickell and his staff offered about three weeks ago. Heaven has been staying in contact with an assistant on the Ohio State staff.

"I have been talking to Coach (Taver) Johnson," Heaven said. "When I talked to him over the phone and they offered me, he was saying they just want to get me up there for a visit and show everything that Ohio State has to offer."
Manatee is set to start the playoffs in another week. Until those games are concluded, Heaven's recruitment will remain in the background.
"As of right now I am most likely going to wait until after the season to take my visits," Heaven said. "The coaching staffs of the schools that are recruiting me agree with me about that. They know it is very hectic with playoffs on Fridays and then trying to get up, get there, get the visit in, and get back for school on Monday. So as of right now my visits will likely be after the season."
Heaven indicated he plans to visit all four schools. None of them can claim his top spot at this time.
"There is no leader right now," Heaven said.
