Four favorites for Curtis Crouch

One of North Carolina’s top offensive line prospects, Fayetteville E.E. Smith offensive tackle Curtis Crouch, currently has six scholarship offers. The massive 6-foot-6, 320-pound prospect is an excellent blocker with an explosive first step off the ball.
“I’ve got offers from Virginia Tech, Virginia, North Carolina State, Oklahoma and Tennessee so far,” he said. “North Carolina State, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Virginia Tech really stand out as my four top schools at this point.”

What does Crouch like about each of his leaders?
“I like North Carolina State because it’s close to home," he said. "I’ve got a lot of family and friends in the area and it would be nice to have them at the games. Oklahoma is a big-time program that I’m looking forward to visiting. A couple of players from my area have gone up to Virginia Tech recently and have really enjoyed their time there. Tennessee is a childhood favorite of mine, and I’m looking forward to visiting there as well.”
Which schools have been recruiting Crouch the hardest recently?
“Oklahoma, Virginia and East Carolina have all been putting forth a lot of effort recently,” he said. “North Carolina State was up there, too, but I think they’ve slowed down a bit since I’m pretty much in their back yard. A good education is important to me in making this decision couple with what’s best for me and my family."
Between summer classes and the beginning of fall practice, Curtis hopes he can visit all of his top four schools, but he may be running into a time crunch as the summer wears on. He has no plans to attend any camps.
