Four battle for Tennessee QB

It appears that four schools have worked their way on to the final list for Memphis (Tenn.) Ridgeway quarterback Will Hudgens.
“It’s between Ole Miss, Memphis, Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss,” he said. “I’ve been to Louisiana Tech (12/16) and Southern Miss (12/19). I’ve got Ole Miss set up for the 9th and Memphis on the 16th.

“I don’t have a leader right now. They’re all pretty even. How my last two visits go will be a big factor for me. I really liked the coaches and players at LaTech and Southern Miss.”
Asked what attracted him to Ole Miss and Memphis, Hudgens said:
“With Ole Miss, it’s the overall atmosphere down there – the Grove – and the success coach Cut and his staff have had, especially with quarterbacks. I watched them in the Cotton Bowl the other day. They looked real good. They had a great season.
“With Memphis, it’s a program on the rise. They’ve really turned things around. Plus, it’s right here at home. That’s not going to be the determining factor for me, but it would be nice to play here so close to my friends and family.”
As a senior, Hudgens (6-4, 200, 4.85) threw for more than 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns.
