Foster witnesses record at Camp Randall

Mundelein (Ill.) Carmel Catholic offensive tackle Sean Foster has visited Wisconsin several times, but this past Saturday was his first game recruiting visit to Camp Randall.
"It was a ton of fun, especially to experience something like Melvin Gordon breaking the record," Foster said. "That's not only the record for him, but the offensive line's as well. It shows you how well they were moving.

A four-star offensive lineman in the 2016 class, Foster was keyed in during the game on the guys who were paving the way for Gordon's 408 rushing yards on Saturday.
"They are one of the biggest offensive lines that I have ever seen," Foster said. "They really are hardworking and very competitive. One of the things Wisconsin does a lot is run the ball, and that's pretty much all we do at Carmel."
Foster estimated he visited Madison three or four times during the off-season. He does not yet hold an offer from the Badgers, but continues to receive encouragement from their staff.
"I just got to talk to the offensive recruiter for a little while," Foster said. "He was very excited to see me up there. He told me that he loves my film and everything I have to show for myself. He said for me to just keep working my butt off and we'll go from there."
A total of 13 schools have offered Foster, but he will see another school that has yet to join that list this upcoming Saturday.
"I am going up to Michigan State next weekend," Foster said. "They said that they love what I bring to the table and they are just waiting to get to know me a little bit better before they offer me."
The 6-foot-7 Foster has added 20 pounds since the off-season and now weighs in at 275 pounds. He helped Carmel Catholic to a 7-4 record this season and has already received all-conference for his play as a junior.
