Foster offered on Purdue visit

Rivals250 class of 2016 offensive tackle Sean Foster is already in double-digit offer territory. He added his most recent tender on a visit to a Big Ten school this past weekend.
"I visited Purdue last Saturday and that was just a ton of fun," Foster said. "I got to meet all the coaching staff, see the players for a little while and then at the end of the day I got offered, so that was just a great day for me and my family."

Without an offer going into the visit, Foster said it was the reputation of the University that drew him to West Lafayette.
"It was just things about the program that intrigued me," he said. "It is a great school academically and it has a great football team.
"I got to see a lot of the school part and got to go into the Business department. That's what I am hoping to study in college, so that was very cool."
With summer camp already underway at Purdue, the visit also gave Foster a look at how the Boilermakers operate on the field.
"Saturday was their first two-a-day, so we got to witness all of that," Foster said. "The intensity of the practice and how Coach (Darrell) Hazell was pushing everyone to not stop moving and working his players to perform at the very best - I really loved that."
Foster plans to return to Purdue this fall to check out a game. He is also looking to attend games at Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin in an effort to learn more about the programs recruiting him.
"I don't really have a game plan right now because it is so early in the process," Foster said. "When the time comes my family and I will sit down and talk about it and make the best choice possible for me."
The 6-foot-7, 256-pound Foster is heading into his junior season at Mundelein (Ill.) Carmel Catholic. He is ranked as the No. 15 offensive tackle in the 2016 class and the No. 3 player in the state of Illinois.
