Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Archbishop McCarthy running back Keon Strachan has been getting attention by way of mail from several programs throughout the Southeast.
"I've gotten letters from Miami (Fla.), Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech and North Carolina," he said.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder had a solid junior season, but thinks he can do better.
"I'd probably give myself a "7" (on a scale of 1-10) because I probably can improve," he said. "I think we will be a lot more successful this year than we were last year."
Strachan also has a local favorite.
"I have been a Miami fan since I was born and it has always been a dream for me to play for them," he said. "I wanted to play for the Hurricanes since I was a kid and it would be a great thing for me.
"I want to stay in Florida, too."
Stratchan plans to camp at Miami, Pittsburgh and N.C. State this summer.
