Forrest planning more visits

MORE: Palazzolo updates his recruitment
Junior running back Jonathan Forrest of New Rochelle, N.Y. recently completed his season and will now focus more of his attention to his recruiting process. He has already taken two visits this fall and hopes to check out a few more schools in the coming months.

"I've received game invites from Rutgers, Penn State, Boston College, Auburn and Cincinnati," Forrest said. "Northwestern has been in touch. They've asked for my transcript, some film and they've called my coach for a character check. Pittsburgh has been in touch as well and I've been keeping close contact with BC and Rutgers."
So far this fall, Forrest has taken visits to Penn State and Rutgers.
"Both visits were great," he said. "I'm very familiar with the Rutgers coaches, so that visit went well. Penn State also went well. It was a good opportunity for me because I'm not that familiar with their coaches. I got to speak to the running backs coach (Charles London for a little and he said he remembered me from the camp and that they would be in contact."
While he has no other visits scheduled at this time, the next school that he would like to check out will likely be Boston College.
On the field this fall, Forrest experienced success both personally and for his team.
"We lost in the playoffs and ended our season at 6-3," he said. "But I had over 1,000 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns in nine games. I really think I showcased a second gear in my game. I felt like I was able to break for longer runs with ease."
Forrest is already thinking of ways to improve his game for next season.
"I just want to continue getting bigger, faster, stronger and improving my game in any way possible," said Forrest, who is also targeting a few camps next summer. "There's a bunch that I'm going to try and go to this summer, such as BC, Penn State, Virginia, Northwestern and maybe even some Nike Camps."
