Former UNC RB sitting with three offers

Daniel Davis spent his true freshman season at North Carolina as a key player for the Tar Heels. He transferred to Garden City (Kan.) Community College for the 2000 season.
"Double D came to us after playing for North Carolina in 1999 as a true freshman," Garden City head coach Bob Larson said. "He was a key player for us last season."
Davis rushed for 914 yards helping Garden City to a national title appearence in 2000. Now he will attend Garden City in the fall and then sign with a college at semester.
"Daniel won't play this fall. I told him if he got his things in line and worked hard, I'd keep him on scholarship this year so he could graduate and get on to another school."
A few schools have already laid their scholarship offers on the table for Davis. "K-State, Colorado and South Carolina are the main ones right now. They have all offered scholarships."
