Former Tulane signee now open

Last year's recruiting season was a very good one in the Garden State for defensive lineman. One player that was rated as a top defensive lineman/linebacker was Elijah Robinson of Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson. He committed to play at Tulane, but did not fully qualify by September. So where is he now?
"I went out to Tulane, but I was never cleared by the NCAA," said the now 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive tackle. "I came home and sat out this Fall, but I worked out heavy."

Last fall Robinson was a mere 250 pounds and many schools were recruiting him as a linebacker.
"The linebacker thing is out the window now," he said laughing. "At 300 pounds I can still move really well and I'll play defensive tackle wherever I go."
Now that Robinson should be a full qualifier with a 920 SAT, he has plenty of offers once again.
"Penn State, Indiana, and Purdue are leading right now. I have offers from all of them plus a bunch of others like Rutgers, but I really don’t have time to take a lot of visits because I want to be enrolled in school in January."
What about Tulane?
"I just didn’t fell comfortable when I was there for the few weeks last August so I have no interest at all. Penn State was in my house on Monday and I seem to really like them. I visited there unofficially last year and they were one of my final three back then."
Did Robinson visit Rutgers last weekend as expected?
"No, I went to Purdue instead and It was a good visit, I liked it a lot. They need defensive tackles so that helps for early playing time. I need to make a decision in the next two weeks."
Robinson also visited Indiana and enjoyed his time there as well.
