After being recruited by North Carolina and Baylor, Mims is going to Kansas.
“I took a visit to Kansas and it went well,” Mims said. “I felt at home with Kansas and I liked the atmosphere. I will report there in the summer.”
Mims said the Kansas coaches expect him to play a rush end or a SAM linebacker.
In high school Mims narrowed his choices to Arizona State, Oklahoma, Florida, and Georgia Tech before signing with the Sun Devils.
