Former four-star heads to MAC

Pittsburgh Penn Hills receiver David Harvey was one of the most heavily recruited players last year and was ranked as the nation's No. 16 receiver. However, he didn't have his academics in order and was forced to sit out this season to get back on track.
He got back on track, and now he's heading to Akron.

Harvey's family confirmed that he signed a national letter of intent with the Zips early this morning, giving Akron another major boost in what looks to be the top class in the MAC.
Harvey is 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds. By sitting out a season and according to a Rivals.com policy, Harvey's ranking is one star level lower than what he was in the previous year.
