Fork Union kicker likes three schools

Fork Union Military Academy has jumped out to a 5-1 mark on the season and is loaded with D-I talent. Kicker/punter Conor Lee is one of the players that is receiving interest.
Lee, who played his high school football at Upper St. Claire in Pennsylvania, stands 5-foot-11 and weighs 192 pounds. Three schools sit atop his list of favorites.

“He is still waiting on offers, but he wants to go to Pittsburgh, Boston College, or Virginia Tech,” commented Fork Union head coach John Shuman. He was primarily a kicker in high school, but has taken on new duties at Fork Union.
“He had never punted before, but he is making progress,” commented Coach Shuman. “He is making punts in the 36 to 37 yard range right now, but he is improving.” An injury has also hampered his production.
“He has been fighting pulled groin, so he has been inconsistent on kickoffs, but he is a great field goal kicker.” So far on the season his longest field goal has been 45 yards.
Look for added experience, combined with his injuring healing, to bring in some offers soon.
