Ford stays true

According to the Myrtle Beach Sun News, one of the nation's top junior college players is officially off the charts.
Coffeyville (Kan.) Coffeyville C.C. three-star defensive end Larry Ford has signed with West Virginia according to The Sun News, who was at a local signing ceremony held at Georgetown High School.

There was some speculation as to what Ford, who is ranked as the nation's No. 39 player, was going to do when the Mountaineers lost coach Rich Rodriguez to Michigan. Ford cut off communication with media members, coaches trying to re-recruit him and coaches at Coffeyville.
But The Sun News published a picture from Ford's signing on Wednesday, ending speculation as to whether or not he would stick with his commitment to the Mountaineers.
Ford, who is 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, also had scholarship offers from Arkansas, Kansas State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, North Carolina and Texas A&M.
Ford will now enroll at West Virginia in January. He has three years to play three seasons at WVU.
