Forcier picks up three big offers

San Diego (Calif.) Scripps Ranch quarterback Tate Forcier is one of the elite signal callers in the national class of 2009. He can already spin it as well as anyone we've seen and recently picked up a trio of big scholarship offers.
Forcier, 6-1, 190 pounds is the youngest and most talented of the Forcier clan with Jason being at Stanford and Chris at UCLA. The quarterback first caught our eye at the NorCal NIKE camp as a rising sophomore and he hasn't stopped impressing us ever since.

As a junior, Forcier threw for 2,387 yards and 21 touchdowns and rushed for 733 yards and six more scores. Wisconsin, Arizona, Iowa and Stanford have all offered and you can add three more schools to the list as well.
"Oregon and Auburn offered me earlier in the week and then Penn State offered just two days ago," Forcier said. "All three are great football programs so I'm pretty excited about the offers.
"I've already visited Penn State and loved it there but I'm really wide open with all the schools that have offered me. I'm really excited about Oregon and Auburn too and I'm looking hard at Michigan and UCLA too.
"Right now, my plan is take some unofficial visits to the schools that have offered and then make an early decision. Like I said though, I'm wide open to all of these schools and just looking forward to going through the recruiting process."
