Forcier cuts list, looking at unofficials

There aren't many quarterbacks nationally more gifted than San Diego (Calif.) Scripps Ranch's Tate Forcier. With 30+ offers and counting, Forcier has cut his list of schools to 20 and will be taking some unofficial visits this summer in hopes of trimming his list to 10 by the start of the season.
Forcier, 6-1, 185 pounds is coming off a great showing at the NIKE Camp at Stanford and Elite 11 regional workout in Berkeley. The signal caller has a great combination of arm strength and athleticism and is one of the truly elite dual threat quarterbacks in the country.

With offers coming from all over the country, including a recent one from Florida a week ago, Forcier said he's looking at 20 schools at this time.
"I have 34 offers right now but I'm down to 20 schools," Forcier said. "The ones that I'm no longer looking at are mainly because they have other quarterbacks already committed.
"My top 20 are Arizona State, Baylor, BYU, Duke, Iowa State, Kansas, Texas A&M, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Washington State, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Kansas State, Florida, New Mexico, Virginia, Stanford and
UNLV.
"By the time football season starts, I would like to be down to 10. I'm going to take a lot of visits this summer but right now, the only one I have a set date with is to Arizona State on June 3.
"I also want to visit Michigan, Penn State, Florida, Nebraska and a few others. My dad is still working on getting flights straight but I'm excited to get out to a lot of these schools, it should be fun. I don't have a leader right now, I'm just going to take some visits and then narrow things down at the end of the summer."
