Foose recaps three trips

Paramus (N.J.) Catholic offensive tackle Dan Foose has seen his stock skyrocket in the last six months, as a host of schools have extended offers and several others appear poised to do the same.
According to Foose himself in a recent phone interview, the talented lineman has a busy July lined up ahead of him. During the month of June he visited three schools.

"I went down to Florida for a camp," Foose recalled. "It went good. I feel like I did pretty good. The coach said he would be in touch. He wants to see a little more film and maybe go from there. I thought it was just an awesome place. The school, the weight room -- everything. Coach Urban Meyer and coach (Steve) Addazio are great."
That wasn't the only schol the 6-foot-6, 310-pound lineman visited while he was in th Sunshine State.
"I got to visit Central Florida while I was down there, too," he said. "That was awesome. I didn't know too much about them before that but it's a great school, too. The coaches were great. I loved the coaching staff. They're young and enthusiastic. I think they're ready for big things there."
For Foose's third trip he didn't have to go too far from home.
"I went to Rutgers' Big Man Camp," he continued. "Being my hometown school, it was awesome. We had a great practice that started in the morning and got much better as it went on. I think they were pretty impressed with everything."
Not that Foose needed to impress Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights, along with BC, Cincinnati, Illinois, Louisville, Minnesota, South Carolina, USF, Stanford, Akron and UCF have extended an offer already.
Foose went on to say that he wants to visit South Carolina, Illinois, Stanford and Minnesota in July. He also thinks he will take a second trip to Boston College.
"After that I'm looking to narrow it down to probably five, then make my decision before the season or after the first three games."
