Fonti is taking visits
Wayne (N.J.) Wayne Hills offensive tackle Chris Fonti continues to sit on one scholarship. The 6-foot-7, 305-pounder is busy taking visits in hopes of landing more in the near future.
"I still have an offer from Rutgers, nobody else has offered quite yet," he said. "I'm busy taking visits. I went to Penn State recently for their junior day and visited Rutgers as well.

"In two weeks I'm going down to visit Florida and Miami and then I'm coming back and stopping through North Carolina and NC State. Then I'll head to Connecticut's Blue White game."
Just coming off a visit to State College, what did Fonti think?
"It was really nice," he said. "I liked the big campus and it was a great tour by one of the coaches. We watched practice and the facilities are really nice there.
"I did get a chance to talk to Coach Anderson. I also met Coach Paterno which was neat."
Despite holding one offer, the Jersey prospect maintains no leaders.
"I haven't really gotten a chance to visit other campuses, so I couldn't say there are any favorites," he said. "I'm just looking for a big campus, good coaching staff and good academics. I'm thinking I'd like to stay more on the East Coast."
