Fonti favors three

Wayne (N.J.) Wayne Hills offensive tackle Chris Fonti has three favorites and he is now saying that it's possible that a decision could be coming as early as this summer.
Fonti's wingspan and frame are big factors that explain his offers from Louisville, Rutgers, East Carolina, FIU and Delaware.

The 6-foot-7, 305-pound lineman from the Garden State will be visiting two of his three favorites in the near future.
"I'm going up to the Rutgers camp this weekend and I might be taking a trip to Pitt soon," Fonti explained. "I've been e-mailing the Rutgers coaches probably once a week and I've been keeping in touch with Pitt, too.
"I'd say (his favorites) are Rutgers, Pitt and UNC. I've been talking to UNC's tight ends coach. I might be (visiting), too."
Fonti said he has not been keeping in touch with coaches from any other schools on a regular basis. While he has not set a date for announcing his college destination, he believes there's a chance it could be coming sooner rather than later.
"I'm not sure, we'll see how it goes," he said, referring to any time frame. "We'll just have to see all the recruiting goes. There's a chance I'll do it this summer. It could be during the season, though."
