Fobbs prepping for a big summer

Miamisburg (Ohio) three-star cornerback Chris Fobbs has been receiving heavy college interest since the fall, but most college coaches are waiting to offer until they see him at camps.
"We have schools coming in and I'm looking forward to going to their camps because they are talking about possible offers," Fobbs said. "They want me to meet my head coaches in-person because they haven't seen how I look yet. I'm excited about going to the camps."

Among the schools that have asked Fobbs to camp are Kentucky, Louisville, Indiana Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan. Fobbs has already made a visit to Indiana's campus and has kept in close contact with the Hoosiers this spring.
"All they want to see is how I move," Fobbs said. "They were going to offer me when I visited earlier, but they just wanted to see me in individual drills."
The most recent schools Fobbs visited was Louisville. He attended one of the Cardinal's spring practices last month.
"I took a tour of their campus and facilities and talked to the coaches," Fobbs said. "The football players and how they interact with each other, it seemed they had fun and did their business at the same time."
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Fobbs has also seen strong interest from Kentucky and keeps in contact with his recruiting coach in Lexington on a regular basis.
"He wants me to take a tour of the campus and the facilities, then go to their camp, obviously," Fobbs said.
Fobbs has not yet scheduled exact dates for his summer camp stops, but knows for sure he will attend the Michigan State, Kentucky and Louisville camps.
