Flynn hoping for more love

One player who has been on our radar for about three years now is South Torrance (Calif.) athlete Kyle Flynn. Flynn will be a four year starter next season and is one of the top 100 players in the state heading in to next season.
Flynn, 6-1, 180 pounds is a talented safety-receiver prospect who looked very good at this past spring's Nike Camp at Stanford. The athlete clocked a 4.53 in the 40, 4.38 in the shuttle and looked very good in the position drills. Although we like Flynn as a safety, he showed excellent cover skills at the camp and could also play that position in college if needed.

Flynn earned all-league honors his freshman season when he picked off five passes in just five games. Unfortunately, he was injured his sophomore year and missed the entire season.
"I was actually injured by my brother in a passing league game," Flynn said. "I ruptured my spleen and missed the year but I came back as a junior and had a great season. I caught 34 passes for 754 yards and 13 touchdowns in a veer based offense, and had 56 tackles and 10 interceptions on defense."
Arizona State jumped on the bandwagon early offering a scholarship and Flynn is hoping a few more schools follow suit.
"I'm also hearing from Colorado, Washington State, Arizona, Oregon, and Nebraska," Flynn said. "I would like to take all my visits although it's temping to jump on the ASU offer. Coach Daryl Jackson is recruiting me from ASU and I really like him a lot but I still want to go through the recruiting process."
