Flower Mound QB finds a home

Flower Mound (Texas) Marcus quarterback Kevin Moore wanted to see Tulane up close and in person before he made his final decision. It was a good thing he did.
The 6-foot-4, 216-pound pro-style quarterback committed to Tulane on Sunday, picking the Green Wave over offers from Wyoming, UTEP and interest from Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.

"It was a good campus, and it had a good college feel," Moore said. "Plus, it's in New Orleans. Tulane has been leading with me ever since they offered me a scholarship in the beginning. I just wanted to visit the campus and see what it's like."
And what he saw, he more than liked -- he loved it.
"Tulane has had their last three quarterbacks drafted and it's a really good system for quarterbacks," Moore said.
Moore threw for 2,068 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior. He had 505 yards passing and five scores in 2003. He earned second-team all-district honors in 2004.
