Floridian Sledge looks to visit up north

"I haven't scheduled any visits," Apopka, Fla., standout Eric Sledge said. "I still have my options open. Every week something new comes in.
"Last week North Carolina State offered. And South Carolina. Notre Dame said I have an offer, I just need my ACT score.

"Ohio State has offered. West Virginia has offered. I'm looking strongly at Florida State. And Florida if they figure out who the coach is.
"I like Auburn. I like Georgia Tech. They both offered. Alabama offered.
"I'll probably make an official visit to Louisville. They were the first to offer.
"I think I'll visit Ohio State, either official or unofficial. They talk about me like a Chris Gamble type."
The 6-foot-2 and 190 pound Sledge is playing wide receiver, cornerback, and safety this season, and has four touchdowns and two interceptions. Sledge is the No. 30 'athlete' prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 39 prospect in the state of Florida.
