Florida WR visits Pitt
Lehigh Acres (Fla.) wide receiver Marcel Pestano took an official visit to Pittsburgh this weekend, and gives the Panthers high marks for the trip.
“It was great,” he said. “I liked the town and the campus a lot. I got a chance to hang out and get a feel for what the players were like. Greg Lee was my host. We had fun hanging out, going to a basketball game.

“I also got to meet all the coaches. I sat down and talked to their offensive coordinator about the system they use. They throw the ball a lot there. It’s a real good offense for a wide receiver – look at Larry Fitzgerald.”
Any thoughts of committing?
“Not yet,” he said. “I’m going to take some more visits first.”
Pestano (6-1, 180, 4.5) said he is also considering Clemson, Syracuse Louisville and Iowa State but doesn’t have his other visits scheduled at this time.
