Florida WR takes first visit

Tampa (Fla.) Middleton wide receiver Conshario Johnson has somehow managed to continue to fly under the radar of the SEC and ACC powers. He was receiving interest from Alabama and Georgia for a while, but hasn’t heard from them in a while. However, he did take an official visit this weekend and has others scheduled.
“Ball State offered me recently and I took an official visit up there this past weekend,” Johnson said. “It was an okay visit. It was a good experience for me. It was really, really cold up there. That is one of the main things that stands out about the trip. I have visits set up to Central Florida, Kent State and South Florida, but I don’t know the dates.”

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Johnson runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds, has a 235-pound bench press and a 375-pound squat.
“Akron recently offered me,” Johnson said. “I plan on taking official visits to Central Florida, Kent State sometime in January. A coach from Iowa State came in and visited me last week and I think Rutgers is supposed to come in and talk to me this week. I have already had in-home visits with Bowling Green and Ball State too.”
