Florida WR remains solid to Pack

Dade City (Fla.) Pasco wide receiver Darrell Davis took an official visit to Central Florida during the weekend, but remains set with his top choice.
"I'm pretty solid on N.C. State," Davis said. "I'm not taking any more visits."

The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder toured the UCF campus and met with Golden Knights head coach George O'Leary.
"It went really good," Davis said. "We talked about how it was the most important decision of my life. He was a great guy."
Despite remaining firm to N.C. State, Davis, the nation's No. 41 wide receiver, was impressed with what he saw during his time in Orlando.
"It was definitely better than I expected," Davis said. "We toured around the campus and just talked to the players and coaches. I really liked the new stadium."
UCF recently released plans for a new on-campus stadium. The Golden Knights currently play at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium near downtown Orlando.
Central Florida quarterback Steven Moffett was Davis' player host.
"(Moffett) was a good character guy," he said.
Davis added that his Wolfpack recruiter, Dwayne Dixon may make an in-home visit this week.
