Florida WR makes his pick

Jacksonville (Fla.) Nease wide receiver Ryan Ellis has decided where he wants to play college football.
The two-star rated prospect committed to Southern Mississippi over Wake Forest.

"I liked the quality of the coaching staff and the personality of the program," Ellis said.
Ellis made his official visit to Hattiesburg during the weekend and talked about his meeting with Golden Eagles head coach Jeff Bower.
"It went very well," Ellis said. "He made it very clear that the kids come first and that the reason you are in school is to get an education."
Ellis said that he will take no more visits, other than a potential unofficial back to Southern Mississippi.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder caught 103 passes for 872 yards and 24 touchdowns this year as his high school team, which featured Tim Tebow, the nation's top dual-threat quarterback, won a state championship.
