Florida WR Jackson is on fire

When Rivals.com first released the footage of Clermont (Fla.) East Ridge wide receiver Richard Jackson on March 23 his only offer was from Central Michigan, but things have certainly changed since.
"I have written offers from Miami, Florida State, Wake Forest, Kansas State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Nebraska, Notre Dame and Central Michigan," Jackson said. "Florida State and Notre Dame are the most recent to offer I think."

The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Jackson runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds and can bench press 225 pounds three times.
"Right now Miami, Florida State, Notre Dame and Nebraska are my top four," Jackson said. "I will add a fifth team and have a top five, but there are a lot of teams in the race for that, it's pretty much a toss up between everyone else who has offered."
Jackson will show off his skills this weekend in Tallahassee at the Florida State NIKE camp, which could be his only camp of the year.
"I might say Nebraska stands out the most right now just because I call their running backs coach, coach Jordan about once a week and we talk," Jackson said. "He is a real down to earth guy and he is a guy that I can trust. I called and talked to coach Johnson at Miami for the first time today for about an hour. He also seems like a real laid back guy that I will get along well with."
As a junior, Jackson caught 73 passes for 1,261 yards for 11 touchdowns. He also collected 41 tackles and three interceptions on defense.
Jackson projects as a full qualifier with a 3.5 GPA and a 950 SAT score.
