Florida WR hitting the camp circuit

Pahokee, Fla., wide receiver Tamarcus Porter attended the Miami NIKE camp in April where was the top receiver in attendance. Ever since his transfer from Royal Palm Beach to Pahokee and that NIKE camp appearance he has picked up an impressive list of offers.
"I have offers from Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Middle Tennessee State, Florida Atlantic, Florida International and Boston College," Porter said. "Auburn and Ohio State have been recruiting me really hard lately. Auburn may be about to offer. The coach that is recruiting me for them told me he was just waiting to get it approved."

The 6-foot-0, 171-pound Porter didn't turn in his best 40-yard dash time at 4.84 seconds, but dominated one on one drills and tested well in the shuttle (4.25) and vertical jump (31-inches) at the NIKE camp.
"North Carolina might be my favorite right now," Porter said. "Wake Forest has moved up too. I attended their camps and after I had a chance to see their campus and facilities they moved up. I also like Auburn, Ohio State, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Iowa, Boston College and some others."
As a junior Porter reeled in 15 passes for 165 yards and one touchdown in an offense that is mostly run. On the defensive side of the ball he collected 50 tackles, six interceptions and 10 pass breakups.
"I am not in a rush to make a decision at all," Porter said. "I want to sit back and take my time and take my visits. I will be looking at facilities and I want to play for a school that gives me a good chance to go to the next level."
