Woods has a new offer and team in his top five.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound wide receiver recently picked up his third offer when
Wake Forest gave him the word earlier this month. The Demon Deacons join Auburn
and Iowa State in that regard.
"Wake Forest has been recruiting me the hardest lately," he said. "I've been
hearing from them a whole lot since the first of this month. I didn't really
know much about their program before, but I've liked everything I've heard so
far. Their coaches seem real nice, real positive. I'm going to try to schedule a
visit up there to see the school, the campus, all that."
Woods says Florida State and Central Florida round out his current top five with
the schools which have offered him scholarships.
"Auburn hasn't called me too much this month -- I think only once -- but they
had offered me back some time ago," he said. "I still like them. They're a good
SEC school with a lot of tradition and a history of good players coming through
there.
"Florida State is the one school I'd like to hear more from. I'm probably going
to go to one of their games here soon."

team and one of the South's
top-rated wide
receivers, had more than 1,000 all-purpose yards as a junior at Lyman High School. He's been
nursing a sprained ankle to start his senior season, but had two receptions for
36 yards and three carries for 27 yards in his last game.
"I'm starting to feel a lot better," he said. "I'll be back 100 percent soon."
