Florida tight end visits Syracuse

Louie Addazio is a tight end prospect from Gainesville, Fla. Addazio, 6-3 and 225 pounds, is from Buchholtz High School. He recently made an unofficial visit this past weekend to Syracuse. What did he think of the Orangemen?
"Ah man, it was great," Addazio said. "I mean I had a great time. I love the facilities. The coaches up there are just wonderful, so upbeat. I also really like the campus and the atmosphere. My father (Steve Addazio - Florida offensive coordinator/Interim head coach) went up there with me. He knows coach (Doug) Marrone and a few of their coaches.

"Syracuse has not offered me yet. I know I am high on their board and they will continue to evaluate me."
Syracuse was Addazio's second recent unofficial visit. He also took a look at UCF, where his sister goes to school.
"I went down there and took the tour. I really liked it. I like those coaches. They are really tough and that's a school that I know will do well."
Addazio has spring plans to visit Bowling Green, Boston College and Rutgers, most likely during his spring break.
Right now Addazio has one scholarship offer. That came from the Akron Zips.
"They offered me a few weeks ago. That was really cool. Now, I just have to keep my eye on the prize and see what I am looking for. Honestly though, it was a great feeling getting that first one. My dad knows their D.C. (defensive coordinator) from when he was at Indiana. I know they are in the MAC and they are on the rise."
