Florida TE sets third visit

One of the Sunshine State's top 100 players has scheduled his third official visit. 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end John Lubischer of Boca Raton, Fla. had already set up official visits to NC State (Dec. 2) and Duke (Jan.13). So who will get his third official?
"I spoke to coaches from Ole Miss tonight and we set the date for Dec. 9. Ole Miss has been recruiting me pretty hard since the spring and they think I would have a chance to come in and contribute early. I have seven offers right now, but those three are the ones I like the best at this point."

Boca had made it to second round of the state 4-A playoffs before bowing out to Miami Edison last Friday night. Lubischer finished the season with 23 catches for 375 yards, six touchdowns and 23 pancake blocks. As a defensive end he had 53 tackles, five sacks, one interception for a score and 12 tackles for loss.
"We would have loved to move on in the playoffs, but Miami Edison had a very good team and we just did not play well that night. It's disappointing, but now it's time to move on and start thinking about my college choice."
So will the big tight end take his last two visits?
"I'm pretty sure I'll take all five at this point, but anything can happen. If I visit a school and really love it, there's a chance I'll commit. I recently sent out the highlight tape of my first five games and my coach told me that there are a few schools that are ready to pull the trigger with an offer, so that could change things."
So what other schools could jump into the mix with an offer?
"Clemson is one that I like a lot and they have been recruiting me for awhile, if they offer over the next two weeks I would definitely visit. I'm also still interested in Boston College, South Carolina, Rutgers, Minnesota, Connecticut and a few others. I'll most likely cut schools off if they haven't offered in the next few weeks, I think that's enough time for a school to let you know if they want you or not. I have enough offers on the table to make a decision that I'll be satisfied with."
