Florida TE has two in front

Bradenton (Fla.) Lakewood Ranch tight end Brendan Choy is waiting for his first scholarship offer, but has been getting some attention from various programs throughout the country.
"I've been getting letters from Clemson, Iowa, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Maryland," he said.

The Iowa native says that the Hawkeyes and Tigers are the frontrunners at this point.
"I like Clemson because I got a few friends and they show a lot of interest," Choy said. "I used to live in Iowa and they were my favorite team growing up as well."
There are a few things he's looking for in a program.
"It really depends on the schools reputation," Choy said. "I like the location of Iowa, and the size of the school.
"And also if they use their tight end a lot."
On Choy's schedule for this spring are Junior Day events at South Florida, Clemson, Iowa and Auburn.
Choy tries to model his game after NFL tight end Jeremy Shockey.
"He is good at everything and doesn't back down from anybody," he said.
Choy, who caught three touchdown passes in 2005, plans to attend the Miami NIKE Camp April 9 on the campus of the University of Miami.
